ERMINSON FERNANDO SALAZAR CRUZ

My name is Fernando Salazar, I am 42 years old, I am from the city of Guayaquil. My parish is "Saint Elizabeth of Hungary", located in Fertisa.

I walk in the 6 community of my parish, and I am in the step of initiation of prayer. I have currently been at the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Esmeraldas for nine months.

My parents separated when I was weeks old, and my mother left home, leaving me with my father, and I also grew up with my uncles. From there I fell into alcohol and disordered sexuality, which led me to a meaningless life. The loneliness I was in because my mother was not with me led me to have no personality, I only found meaning in my life when they invited me to the Neocatechumenal Way for a catechesis. Currently I have been on the Camino for 22 years, I have seen that God is healing many wounds. God found me like a lost sheep to give meaning to my life, and to be able to search for my mother and reconcile with her after more than 24 years that I did not know about her, but God gave me this to meet my brothers and see that everything This time the Community has been to see the love of God and in the midst of my infidelities God has been faithful, where I have experienced that my cross is perfect to meet God.
