MARCO ISRAEL QUICHIMBO PERALTA

My name is Marco Israel Quichimbo Peralta, I was born in the city of Cuenca in 199… My community of origin is the ninth of the San Blas parish in Cuenca. I am the second of 13 children (two in heaven and 11 alive) and I have the grace that my parents are on the Neocatechumenal Way just like my brothers. My parents have transmitted the faith to us, and through their constant gift of themselves to each one of us, I have been able to experience the great love that God has for me.

Material precariousness has always been present in my family, but the Lord has filled us with spiritual abundance, giving us the warmth of a large family. Despite my many sins, mistreatment that I have had with them, my disobedience and my lack of love, my parents have always shown me that they love me and I have experienced sincere forgiveness on their part.

The Lord called me to the weekly at the age of 22, with concerns and uncertainties, with my weaknesses and my fears. For this reason, I am very grateful to Father Julio Vázquez, my first formator, who, like a child, has made me take my first steps in formation. God has made a change in my life and throughout these years in the seminary, I have experienced the love of God.

I have one semester left to finish my studies. I ask you to pray for us, you are in our prayers and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love you have for us, your reward will be great in heaven.
