DAVID ISMAEL SÁNCHEZ ORDÓÑEZ

My name is David Ismael Sánchez Ordóñez and I was born in the city of Loja - Ecuador, in 1995. I am the last of 9 siblings, 3 of whom are in heaven.

Before being in the church, I lived in a sinner, submerged in the depths of this world, taking refuge in the superficiality that the world offered me at that time. I come from a dysfunctional family and I had many lawsuits against my parents: I was full of insecurities and gaps, which I sought to fill with the pleasures of this world.

By God's mercy I entered the Neocatumenal Way, and through my catechists, who have announced the "Kerigma" to me, I experienced the Love of God. The announcement of a God who loves me just the way I am was a powerful light for me in the midst of the rottenness in which I lived.

Now I am a witness of how God is giving me back the "Dignity" of being his son, like the prodigal son, who returns to his Father's house. Since the end of January 2023 I have been at the Redemptoris Mater "San Pedro Claver" seminary in Esmeraldas. I ask you to pray for me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity towards us.
